The topic of Matsumi Ladies Clinic Mita English blog in June is about the nose.
In the first part, I create an article about functions of the nose suitable for easy reading.
Why is the nose on your face?
The primary function of the nose is for breathing.
It also plays an essential role in tasting and vocalising.
Without the nose, we can’t enjoy the smell of food.
The feeling that you detect in tasting is a combination of smell and taste along with texture.
That is why you can’t fully enjoy delicious food with a blocked nose.
Along with tasting, your nose and throat work together for vocalising.
When you have a cold, if your nose is dysfunctional, you sometimes notice that your voice has changed.
The nose is a part of our facial appearance.
It’s funny to see everybody’s different nose.
Does the shape of the nose tell a person’s ethnicity?
Depending on ethnicity, the shape and size seem to differ.
In general, Japanese people’s noses are lower than Westerners.
Some people think that a particular shape of nose tells personality.
Why not find your nose type and personality!
Here are the eight types of the nose.
Those are the Greek nose, the Hook nose, the Arched nose, the Button nose, the Straight nose, the Concave nose, the Crooked nose and the Nubian nose.
It seemes that each type of the nose represents the personality of the person with each nose as listed below.
1 The Greek nose;
Prudent, practical and loyal.
2 The Hook nose;
Thoughtul and opinionated.
3 The Arched nose;
Good manner, organised and efficient
4 The Button nose;
Determined, strong-willed
5 The Straight nose;
Patient and calm
6 The Concave nose;
Kind, feel emotion deeply
7 The Crooked nose;
Good listener, careful-thinker
8 The Nubian nose;
Curious and expressive
Can you imagine a famous person with each type of the nose?
For example, one of the celebrities with the Nubian nose is the former US President Barack Obama.
