This is my second visit to Maizuru during Golden Week.
The city has two faces: Nishi-Maizuru, an old castle town, and Higashi-Maizuru, a former naval port known for its history of “repatriation” after the war.
This time, I visited Higashi-Maizuru Station in the rain. In this town with its naval history, the rain felt gentle and time moved slowly.
Enjoying Maizuru’s quiet rhythm made my time on duty very productive.
I had a great Golden Week—refreshing myself with the manga “Golgo 13” while preparing my presentation for the 5th International Symposium of Clinical Immunology in Chiba.
The calmness around the hospital truly relaxed my heart.
I am looking forward to the conference with everyone from overseas in Urayasu on May 22nd and 23rd.
On tomorrow morning, 3 nights, 4 days…
Mission Complete.
